I had to drive from Stamford to Huntington yesterday - and it gave me a chance to listen to the Senate vs. Goldman Sachs. The outrage was frequent -- about Orange level - both at the ineptness of some of the Senators and the arrogance and condescending attitude from the Wall Streeters - because the truth is, and we all know it, we would have heard the same thing from any WS firm; it just happened to be Goldman Sachs on the hot seat yesterday.
And I found myself yelling at the radio on more than one occasion. Hope no one on the LIE mistook it for road rage. Seriously - it wasn't that bad - but I did yell a few times. I called my dad after it was over and said, and I quote, "if Harry Reid can't get his three votes to move debate forward after that display, nothing will." And lo and behold, the Republican filibuster came to an end today...courtesy of Goldman Sachs.
